Chilly-O x Greedmont Park

We just collabed with the homies over at Chilly O, to produce this “Unite” crew neck. After continuously hearing people bicker about how “Atlanta needs to come together” or “the scene needs more unity.” I decided it was time to stop talking and start doing. It only made sense to team up with the biggest local streetwear company in the city, Chilly-O, they’ve been holding it down solidly for awhile now. When I started on the design I wanted to find something that symbolized unity, without resorting to cliche images of the world or people holding hands. Then I thought back to a time when Chilly was telling me that Atlanta’s historic Peters St, was once nicknamed ‘Snake Alley’, infamous for being a placed to buy heroin (or for getting mugged). I was intrigued by the fact and wanted to find a way to tie it into the design, when I remembered a tattoo I did on a young lady two months ago. Ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent swallowing its own tail and forming a circle. It is a representation of a number of things, one of which is unity.
