BLKKMORRIS X IRA G PRESENT: TRAPACANA by BLKKMORRIS

BLKKMORRIS and Ira G’s new mix, ‘Trapacana,’ makes you wonder why you aren’t poolside doing something ratchet with your friends. Loaded with all of the signature sounds of the “TRAP” (including rick ross grunts and lil jon screams), it’s obvious Trapacana was put together by two people familiar with the genre and not by people attempting to ride a swelling wave.

The duo’s knowledge of Atlanta rap music is most clear in their use samples; many of which remind me of the years when I first started partying in dark, sweaty rooms where people of all races, religious affiliations, social backgrounds lost their inhibitions to ratchet ass music. So if you want to get familiar with how we get down in Atlanta, Trapacana is a solid introduction.
