Mexico [Photos]

So I spent the last two weeks backpacking from Mexico City to Cancun, from the Petrified Waterfalls of Oaxaco to the Seventh wonder of the world in Merida, I even went to visit a Zapatista Village in Chiapas. Documenting the different aspects of their culture and way of living for Greedmont TV and Creative Control. Until we get all the footage edited up here’s some photos I managed to catch along the way. This one is a little long, but extremely incredible! Banksy is the one of the most infamous graffiti artists of our generation. He has managed to plaster the walls of every major city with political messages and statements. Robbo is an old school writer from the UK, and has developed a rivalry with Banksy. This is their story, Graffiti Wars. It was only available in the UK via Channel4 until some good graffiti Samaritan has made it viewable for everyone worldwide. Super inspiring story for the underdog!

New Zealand Police Graffiti Campaign

This advertising campaign to attract new police officers in Zealand is completely authentic. Traditionally, graffiti writers have long defended there work saying that it is no different from a corporate ad campaign while cops have called it distasteful and illegal. Now the tables have turned and the police are using fake Banksy style stencils to attempt to look cool and appeal to youth culture.
