Japanese artist Kazuki Takamatsu creates distinctly ethereal images by combining the computer graphics technique of depth mapping with black and white painting in acrylic and gouaches to creature doll-like characters that appear holographic and ghostly.

Following the successful release of their Art Rap LP, Corey Davis and A.ware of Mach Five are putting together a juried art show on February 21st @ City of Ink, in the Castleberry Arts District of Atlanta. Free Drinks and sounds from some of the city’s favorite DJ’s.
All artwork must be submitted to City of Ink, 323 Walker St. before February 18th. It will be reviewed by a jury and judged on technical skill, creativity and craftsmanship. No Restrictions on size or medium, listen to the Art Rap LP now for inspiration @ www.machfive.xxx

Most known for his animations and illustrations, I’ve been following his artwork since his Arkanium comic book series, but he is currently Producer & Director of the new Black Dynamite cartoon and was the lead animator for the Boondocks animated series.

The work of Troy Galluzi reminiscent of still from a mid-90′s action flick, packed with fast cars, explosions, and half naked girls. He style of illustraton is more like something you find on storyboard for a Michael Bay film. With bright, flashy imagery, and an easy-to-digest storyline, the best way to enjoy this collection is with a buttery bucket of popcorn.
