Following the successful release of their Art Rap LP, Corey Davis and A.ware of Mach Five are putting together a juried art show on February 21st @ City of Ink, in the Castleberry Arts District of Atlanta. Free Drinks and sounds from some of the city’s favorite DJ’s.
All artwork must be submitted to City of Ink, 323 Walker St. before February 18th. It will be reviewed by a jury and judged on technical skill, creativity and craftsmanship. No Restrictions on size or medium, listen to the Art Rap LP now for inspiration @ www.machfive.xxx

Sensational photography work by Rasmus Mogensen. I never grow tired looking at his work, completely captivating. He wanted to become a photographer since he was 8 and had his first independent photo exhibition at the age of 17. Born in Copenhagen, based in Paris, and now partly New York, he has been working professionally as a fashion and beauty photographer for the past 15 years. Nowadays, he’s shot for German, Australian and Russian Vogue, French Elle and Marie Claire, Australian Harper’s Bazaar, The Sunday Times Magazine, Jalouse, L’Officiel and Wallpaper, among others.

Overexposed photos with skewed angles and overlapping floral patterns are the key elementsof LA’s Amanda Charchian’s ‘Rose Ascension’ series. In her own words:
“I aim to investigate the state of alienation through realms of the physical, psycho-social and spiritual human condition. Employing 2D and 3D mediums to transmit mystical experience into matter, my art practice is a means of communicating the subconscious sphere into objects; creating possible portals to ascend beyond known reality.”
