I’ve been listening to this guy’s project for the past few weeks, steadily wondering, can Will Hill one of the best rappers in this up and coming? The answer is still up in the air but with this project, Ramadan, he could well on his way. This 13-track mixtape is filled with records that “Real Hip Hop” fans can enjoy but the common music lover can as well. With highlights like “Floatin pt. 2″ (video above), “hi” and “Flatline”, Will Hill shows he has plenty of potential. Maaaaan, I was listening to Ballers Eve last night and heard two records from an Alabama rapper named Lil Mook. J Dirrt played this one record from Mook called “Respect” and I’ve been listening to it ever since. Come to find out, this guy is making a lot of noise. Though Vice Haus isn’t flooded with features, Forte proves that he can obtain a tight grasp on your attention by harmonizing the relatable over original instrumentation- all whilst maintaining a balance between ratchet and righteous. I’m posting this months late(r), but what can I say. Gotta love technology! I’ve been jamming this project since it’s release in December of last year. The Boy Illinois is known for his catchy hooks and subtle consciousness in his music. Illinois and one of the main producers, Rel Elite, did a nice job creating a production that complimented the lyricism well. Definitely proud to be involved in designing the artwork for this project.
