Beach House Releases Home Made Video For “New Year”

Maryland dream pop duo Beach House just released a home made video for their song “Bloom.” Patched together from a string of videos shot during the recording process for the album, the video contains many furry cats and a lot of warm sun gazing through still windows. The song is the perfect intro to this brand new year.

Here is a video we made using footage from our recording session at Sonic Ranch Studios, Tornillo, Texas. It’s more of a home video thing, not a music video…….we just thought these moments and the memories they involve fit this song. SUPER SPECIAL thanks to our wonderful assistant engineer for the session Manuel Calderon (the guy with the tequila), who filmed all the time lapses and a lot of the studio footage.

Dell Harris rides through downtown Philadelphia in the back of a 1950s Checker Marathon taxi for his latest visual “Fiji.” Joined by two female acquaintances, the Atlanta emcee rhymes over Ryan Marks’ (1/2 of Loudpvck) bass-heavy production. Making for an infrequent rap/electronic trap concoction. Directed byJason Ano, this video provides great visual to what is already a pretty awesome song. Now hit play and enjoy the ride!
