Rome Fortune, one of the most creative up and coming rappers not only in Atlanta, but the country, drops his first video, “Get the Guap” (Produced by Dun Deal) from his highly acclaimed project, Beautiful Pimp. Shot in L.A. and regardless of the title, Rome brings a different view to the stereotypical ‘Get money, fuck bitches’ aspect and instead presents a visually pleasing visual capturing his uniqueness, style, and overall creative vision. Met this guy, Isaiah Rashad this January at a show in Tennessee with Ducko Mcfli. I wasn’t familiar with him outside of his verse on Ducko’s popular “I Get It” record. But that alone showed his talent. I’ve recently spent a lot of time on the Chattanooga, TN raised musician’s soundcloud and I must say, this guy is special. He’s currently working on his debut project, but below I picked some of my favorite tracks I’ve heard from Mr. Rashad. You’re going to want to keep up with dude.
