To all of you lucky people in New York City, here’s your chance to check out Sylvia Ji’s show “Las Adelitas“.  This is Sylvia’s first solo show at Joshua Liner Gallery. The LA based artist has created fifteen new paintings for the exhibition.  Each piece is done in acrylic on wood panel. If the Sylvia girls are this beautiful on your computer screen, just imagine them in real life! The reception takes place July 10th ( Saturday) from 6-9pm. 

The turnout for the Popular Artshow at City of Ink last friday was crazyyyy! This Would be the 5th art exhibition I put together, and this time aroudn I had the help of the lovely Sophie Cest Lavie. We decided to make it a juried exhibition on Pop Culture, so artist would be inspired to give us their best. Sponsored by Kid Robot, Rhythm Liqueur, Binders Art Supply Store, and Asahi Japanese beer, there was plenty of free goodies for everyone. From bottles of beer to Kid Robot’s new, unreleased “Evil Skaters” series and discount gift cards, our “Lady Gaga” and “Marilyn Monroe” waitresses was always there popping up with a new gift for the packed-out crowd. There’s an art show opening tomorrow night at Young Blood Gallery. Check it out, the theme of the show is movie posters. the show will run from showing Sept. 5th – 27th.

Jeremy Fish is preparing a new exhibition, Nature Studies, in Mexico City. The opening reception, is April 2nd, 2009 at the FIFTY24MX gallery.
