A.Dd+ – “Can’t You See” (Prod. By NickNack) [VIDEO]

I’m trying to get to Dallas and cop  A.Dd+’s, new project “DiveHiFlyLo.”  Here’s the video and group’s brief from Red Bull’s site:

‘Can’t You See’ is a collaboration between Dallas rap group (and Red Bull Soundstage artists) A.Dd+ and producer NickNack. The video was directed and produced by OG of Luxury Mindz.

The song, which appears on NickNack’s album ‘State Machine’ and is available at Crowd Control Records and NickNack’s bandcamp page, came about when A.Dd+’s DJ Sober met up with NickNack in Austin during a Red Bull Thre3Style event. NickNack said he was a fan of the group and played a few beats. The end result was ‘Can’t You See,’ a head-bobbing tune with a soulful beat and sharp lyrics from rappers Paris Pershun and Slim Gravy.

A.Dd+ debuted their first album, ‘When Pigs Fly,’ in 2011 to wide acclaim, earning raves from Pitchfork Media and XXL. The group’s upcoming mixtape, ‘DiveHiFlyLo,’ drops January 26. A.Dd+ will celebrate the release with a performance at the Granada Theater in Dallas.

Kydd – “The Righteous LP” [Album]

I like how Austin MC Kydd’s “The Righteous LP’s” artwork is full of trippy, unsavory things. Released on July 31st, I wanted to give this 3 solid listens before I said anything. I liked it after the first. Kydd’s production continues to impress me. I still think somebody should have rapped over that dope intro. There wasn’t as many tracks on here as his “Sounds In My Head Pt. 2″ released in March, but it still had some nice featured artists. Listen to “Texas Heat.” It’s going to be my go-to track for the next few Summers!

Kydd & Max Frost – “Nice & Slow” [Audio]

It’s becoming a challenge for me to keep up with this dude, Kydd. I don’t know if it is simply his work ethic, or great marketing for his project, “The Righteous LP,” dropping July 31st. Either way, the word of the week, month, and year is still “work!” He links up with Max Frost once again to produce a more “nice and slow” joint for the ladies, but nothing less than dope.

Kydd ft. A.Dd+ – “Masons” [Audio]

Following the release of his last single, “Russian Roulette” featuring Chicago’s GLC, Austin MC Kydd drops his second (self-produced) single off his newly titled “The Righteous LP.” Kydd’s latest song, “The Masons,” features Slim Gravy and Paris P of A.Dd+, who have quickly established themselves as Dallas’s leading hip-hop duo.

After touring together on the Red Bull Skooled Tour, it was only a matter of time before the two Texas acts collaborated on this enigmatic track that’s sure to cause controversy. Their daring lyrics and witty rhyme schemes will have hiphoppers on edge while they wait on Kydd’s new project which drops July 31st. His next album, following the critically acclaimed “Sounds In My Head 2″ (with features from Yelawolf, GLC, Pac Div, and Skyzoo), promises to go down in the books as another Southern classic. Pass the chalice and open your third eye for the LNS Crew as they present “The Masons.” Artwork by FlyWidit Customs.

Fresh off his 2012 LP “Sounds In My Head 2? (which also featured Yelawolf, Pac Div, and Skyzoo), Austin MC Kydd teams up once again with Chicago native GLC to drop the first summer single for his new, as of yet, untitled project. The track features fellow LNS Crew members Max Frost and Tank, who keep the song moving with melodic harmonies and straightforward delivery. Kydd’s next release is set to drop late July (with guest appearances from ADd+, Worldwide, and Western Tink among others), marked by his hunger and determination to provide this generation of listeners quality music through his vivid storytelling and restless production. Without further ado: Russian Roulette. Art by FlyWidit Customs.
