Odd Future Vs. B.o.B??

As many may know, Tyler the Creator of Odd Future doesn’t watch his mouth. Or maybe he does, but just doesn’t give a damn. We see it time and time again in various songs where he speaks of making music the Devil plays before he goes to sleep, having threesomes with Triceratops dinosaurs and telling Jesus to “quit bitching.”
On Yonkers, Tyler may have ruffled the wrong feather by stating: “…I’ll crash that fucking airplane that that faggot nigga Bob is in/ and stab Bruno Mars in his got damn esophagus…”
B.o.B. took no time to rebut, releasing a track deemed ‘No Future.’ (more…)

Ethan Lader is a good friend of Greedmont Park and probably one of the most creative music video directors out there. He’s working with everyone from Bruno Mars and Mariah Carey to bring a visual element to your favorite songs. He steps it up with Grammy-nominated group, OneRepublic. He directs their newest single, “Good Life” and let’s just say ‘good’ is a under-statement. Enjoy the video below and read our interview with the superstar director by clicking here.

Believe it or not, the Motion Family was my whole inspiration as far as getting into film. Last year we went on the road together for SXSW and had an insane time. Shortly after I invested in my first camera. This has been a great year for them. Salute.

End of the year festivities usually call for excessive amounts of alcohol, herbal consumptions and a single round table to discuss the past and what’s in store for the future. Hip-hop took a left turn during the year of 2010 and parked its vehicles in the lot of many listeners’ computer hard drives. Leaked singles, mixtapes and the infamous weekly music series took over blogs, tweets and Facebook shared link posts. If one was not fully aware of what the art of hip-hop consist of, then this year definitely helped in their reassurance. Grab a seat at the round table while Greedmont Park reflects on the year that hip-hop arose from [what Nas may say] the dead and manifested the origin of creativity in ways that pleased the ear and inspired the mind. Ethan Lader: The Director Bringing Radio Stars to Life [Interview]

It has been said in The Buggle’s classic song that “video killed the radio star.” A few decades later and video isn’t as threatening as one might have imagined in the scary year of 1979. Thanks to visionaries like Hype Williams and David Meyers, the music video is a tool for our generation to bring a third-dimensional quality to music and the artist. The music video is a necessity to unequivocally express said artist’s style, vision, and culture to the masses. Ethan Lader is the premiere music video director that will do just that.
What do B.o.B, Jason Derulo, Travie McCoy, J*Davey, Bruno Mars, and Mariah Carey all have in common? Besides, being amazing artists, they all have called on super music video director Ethan Lader to bring their visions to life. You’ve seen them. From a collage of beauties in the “Nothing On You” video to Mariah Carey crooning yuletide cheer with her new video for “Oh Santa!”, Ethan Lader has been breaking grounds as the go-to director when a artist wants something creative, unique, but still effortless. The thirty year-old visionary takes time to chat with me about his music videos and life on the beach.

Heard about this collab in April and it has finally arrived!! The All City Chess Club, featuring Lupe Fiasco, Asher Roth, The Cool Kids, Blu, B.o.B, Dosage and Diggy Simmons, join together to rap over Lupe’s I’m Beamin track. Ex member Charles Hamilton is also featured, spitting a few bars behind Roth. I may have to check this Dosage guy out in the near future. Beat is the same as the original, but I’ll def have to give this a few more spins, maybe it’ll grow on me when I least expect it. Judge for yourself though, links below. Enjoy!!

Refreshing visuals from Janelle Monae, this remix is pretty dope! B.o.B murdered the first verse, ofcourse Lupe went in as well. But I think the verse Janelle spit killed both of them in the end. Viscous.
