I’ve been waiting all day for this record. Since Jay twitpic’d him and Young Guru in the studio around 4am, the internet has been anticipating the release of a new record from the Roc Nation artist. This track features the infamous duo from queens. Act II’s album release date just went from never coming out to maybe one day. All you Jay Elec fans, there’s still hope.

Visually, 71 into the Fire is damn-near flawless. The cinematography is out of sight, the action- choreography is the bomb.com, and the over-all tone of the movie it turned all the way up to INTENSE. This is the incredible true story of how on August 11th, 1950, 71 boy soldiers, with no training, of the South Korean army singlehandedly held back the elite North Korean 766 Commando Brigade for a full 11 hours. The movie short comings is follow the same tired themes of war: the lost of innocents, courage under fire, and answering the call of duty. To make matters worst, the movie seem to stuffed with un-necessary melodrama that doesn’t necessary stagnate the movie, but it would nice if they would of trimmed the fat down.
THE GOOD:
- Incredible scenes of Epic-Warfare
- An engaging story of war that’s maintains it’s intensity
- A Solid War movie that rivals Saving Private Ryan
THE BAD:
- At time un-necessarily melodramatic
- The Commie (Bad Guy)Leader is more cooler and outshines the Allied (Good Guy) leader, who make it difficult to know who cheer for. Don’t be making fascists sympathetic characters.
- They seem to force some romantic sub-plot that’s not even called for.
VERDICT: As war films go, this is pretty solid. Well-filmed, good performances, great action, and you can’t say fairer than that.

GOD DAMN this is a good trailer. I’ve never served in the armed forces, but my much simulated experience in Call of Duty: Black Opts must say this trailer is 100% accurate to what real-life combat is like. War is a just a series of cool slow-motion shoot outs, and walking like pimp from explosions, and glad to see a movie like Seventy-One in the Fire to accurately capture what it means to be a patriot.
