Jantine van Peski, recently joining MUUSE (the site for all the newest and freshest fashion designers straight from design school), they presented her latest collection “WIRES 10.0″. The collection, as she mentions, works with the “textile sculptures from the 1970s and specifically the macrame-technique”. The collection seeming difficult to be replicated but definitely daring to the eyes…

As I was browsing the web, I came about this really cool collection by Setareh Mohtarez. She is experimenting with the trending “galaxy” design which has been all over the runway and web lately. The colors and design is simple, yet complex which I obviously really like.

Remember the G-point mouse that resembled a vagina? Well now here’s the spin-off. Designers, Mostafa Tohidifar & David Abbasi, present the iTit Optical Wireless Mouse. With a nipple as the joystick, there isn’t much that needs to be said.

How did we miss this? I know Corey could appreciate it, Pharrell’s tank chair. Made in four different colors; pink, blue, black and white. Remember Pharrell’s human legs chair? So the series continues… I wonder what’s next.

This circular bookshelf is an installation piece created by David Gracia. You can either have a seat in the cutout space or roll around in the miniature library. But it kind of looks like a giant hamster wheel for humans…

“If you’re going to design, then design!” – me!
So I just got back from Savannah for Jury Show to participate in Savannah College of Art and Design’s Annual Fashion Show. I must say that SCAD has a great reputation and the garments I saw this weekend adds to the success of the school. One bit of advice I must give is, if you want to design, then design! Don’t be afraid of your personal style and put it out there for the world to see! Do not let anyone tell you no, even if it is your professors. Give them and anyone who blocks success a big F you, and shoot for the stars every time! It’s fashion; It’s something out there for everybody!

This is a flyer design and illustration I did for WWW.VINYLPIMP.CO.UK, an only online record shop dedicated to selling vinyl records as an agent on behalf of individual collectors, DJ’s and companies. When Pixel Pimp and Vinyl Pimp collide they form this EPIC flyer. I intended to illustrate the back as-well, but the brief had dump truck worth of content I had to include, so I had to scrap it. In the end, I think it came out clean. For your flyer design and illustration needs contact me at www.pixel-pimp.com. Thanks
