The Essex-raised, New York based Ghost writer and Producer Blood Orange aka Devonte Hynes been writing and producing for the likes of Florence Welch and Solange Knowles, giving his endless time in the studio to cook-up his upcoming album, drops his new visuals for “I’m Sorry We Lied” Hynes previously released his, Coastal Grooves, album last summer, Hynes recruits talents in director Abteen Bagheri’s to recreate the peppy tune. Hynes yields to a female fatale to his devotion to night riding in a motorcycle. Which the young filmaker drew Hynes inspiration from classic retro 80′s noirs like, Near Dark, The Wraith, and the Coen Brothers’ debut, Blood Simple, and even used footage of American Ninja 4, which was by chance playing on the motel television while filming, interesting cinematic footage, updated 80′s pop soundtrack, great tune, Happy Memorial day again, enjoy the quality flash version here:

Bloody Beetroots puts a political spin on electro music, Sir Bon Cornelius Rifo teams up with Justin Pearson for vocals on this title track “Domino”. A noir style music video “movie”. Rifo has described the Domino EP as “music, cinema, and photography”. The movie met my high expectations for the anti-authority Bloody Beetroots, mixing their sound with the drama of chase scenes and samples from President Carters speech, “Domino is also a revision of history. Domino destroys Nazi iconography to turn into anarchy”.
