Donnis’ debut Fool’s Gold single “Gone” launched the ATL-bred MC onto MTV and radio, the cover of XXL’s hotly contested Freshman Issue, and concert stages worldwide. His latest FG release is the superpowered bass boom of “Hello Kitty,” an irresistible club rap anthem destined to rattle car trunks and grease stripper poles all summer. It’s the first tease of what’s in store on Donnis’ forthcoming Break Hundreds And Hearts EP, which promises even more futuristic jeep beats and Parental Advisory-stickered odes to freaks around the globe.

Recently, Jabari scored a deal with BET to start a web-series, where he does what he does best… (interviewing). He’s been traveling all around the country interviewing your favorite artists and asking questions you want answered. This is a good look for BET and they should definitely consider taking this into a television series. I am I right?

End of the year festivities usually call for excessive amounts of alcohol, herbal consumptions and a single round table to discuss the past and what’s in store for the future. Hip-hop took a left turn during the year of 2010 and parked its vehicles in the lot of many listeners’ computer hard drives. Leaked singles, mixtapes and the infamous weekly music series took over blogs, tweets and Facebook shared link posts. If one was not fully aware of what the art of hip-hop consist of, then this year definitely helped in their reassurance. Grab a seat at the round table while Greedmont Park reflects on the year that hip-hop arose from [what Nas may say] the dead and manifested the origin of creativity in ways that pleased the ear and inspired the mind. Hip-Hop renegades, Mach Five, is prepping for the release of their new Double Dare EP (coming Sept. 20), the sequel to the Stepchild EP, by dropping a stormy anthem called “Come Back”[prod. by Hanz]. This will be the second single from forthcoming 8-song project, which will feature appearances from Nivea and Donnis.

The 3rd annual Atlanta Indie Music + Arts Festival @ Krog Jam was pretty crazy. We had stellar performances from Donnis, Hollyweerd, Mach Five, Young Lyxx, Grip Plyaz and many more of Atlanta’s hometown heroes. It was hot as hell, and the only thing that kept me going was Redbull and PBR. Unfortunately, Donnis’ set was cut short when some sucka MC tried to steal my camera and I slammed him up on the dance floor. Click here to View Pics
