Dubai builds World’s Highest Tennis Court

No other tennis court in the world has quite the view as the one at the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. Located more than 650 ft (200 m) above ground, the hotel’s grass helipad was converted into a 4500 sq ft (415 sq m) tennis court to promote the Dubai Open back in ’05.

The World’s Tallest Building

Look’s like Dubai’s  Burj Khalifa Tower just stole the shine from Chicago’s Sears Tower. The new world’s tallest building opened on Jan. 4, 2010, in the midst of a deep financial crisis. Named in honor to the leader of neighboring Abu Dhabi, it is more than twice the height of the Empire State Building’s roof.
