Trust me. We at Greedmont Park truly understand what can result from hard work. Mach Five just completed their Ratchet Shit Trilogy in 2 months. With little time to celebrate, and before I knew it, they were already shooting their video for “Turn Up Juice.” Word of the Day/Month/Year: Werk.
Since winning the 2012 SXSW Coast 2 Coast in March, I haven’t seen Houston lyricist Onehunnidt celebrating much. Sure, he did host a number of events at some known hot spots, but even then he was putting in “werk.” Even after the amount of recognition on his “Keep It 100″ mixtape and a number of mentions by the Houston Press, Onehunnidt has continued to release new tracks and relevant videos that complement the project. The latest, directed by Coreigh Terry, being “Werk.”
Forget what they told you. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Jesse Owens and Usain Bolt never quit after their first win. How many total miles would you say they have ran? Werk.

Mars vs Pluto Vol. 2 is the second installment of mixtapes by DJ Genesis. Genesis effortlessly takes us on a ride through space blending several genres of music from gangster rap to indie. Artist include Jay 305, Young Scooter, and Future.. as well as Kenna, SBTRKT and Fun. The Yin & Yang inspired cover art perfectly depicts genesis ability to use contrary genres in music into one cohesive sounding project.

Finally the project is here, this is great because this project was somewhat therapeutic to the main parties involved. It all started after someone broke into Session’s crib and stole his equipment! Zulu Faz and I offered Session who is also a very dope producer by the way our production services and this turned into 2020 Vision. I don’t really have much to say but this is a foundation that we are creating for the future. People will always look back or discover this project and realize the vision has been there since the beginning. Zulu Faz and I linked up with Boston’s very own Session to produce his up coming project 20 20 Vision, which will be dropping October 20th 2011 at exactly 20:20 hrs. This is the 1st leak off the project entitled Goodtyme. Zulu, Megaboy Alpha and I did the track, the idea came from Outkast and George Clinton’s “Synthesizer” from the classic album “Aquemini” We got blessed with superb verses from A.ware, the young general Jay and Zulu Faz. So grab your 3d glasses and immerse yourself into this music and you’ll soon have 20 20 Vision. Peep the download link below
