Stalley feat. DJ Khaled-City of 30,0

MMG’s Stalley is releasing random tracks before he debuts his next mixtape Savage Journey to the American Dream.  This one is straight FIRE! What I like to call “Head Nod Music”. He doesn’t even need a hook for this shiiiiit.

“Rich Forever” – Mixtape Review

Sunday, January 15, 2012 by | No Comments | Category: Music, Rap

Rick Ross. *Sigh*. December 13th was the release date for God Forgives, I Don’t, BUT instead, you pushed it back to an unknown date that only you and God know what it is (if that). So you know what you did? You took some, if not most, of your album cuts and recorded some new tracks and made it into a mixtape and called it Rich Forever, and STILL didn’t give us a release date for your album. Regardless of all the politics that revolves around Ross’s career, this tape is full of trunk rattling bass, top notch production (Boi-1da, Lex Luger, Beat Billionaire, Chuck Inglish, etc), luxury raps, and great features but the one thing it lacks, is the variation of flow. Ever since “B.M.F.” Rick Ross has gotten stuck in this box of only using this simple flow. Yeah, it works, as he show’s with “Yellow Diamonds” and “Fuck ’Em” on this tape, it’s catchy, and may get a lot of plays but it becomes repetitive. There is nothing complex about it. It shows no skill, which we know Rozay possesses. He’s better than this. This tape is nothing but riding music. But if you’re a listener of Ross you know he is one of the few rappers that has shown progression with every project but it seems he’s hit a wall. He gives us a glimpse of how dope his work could be with tracks like “Rich Forever” featuring John Legend and “Triple Beam Dreams” featuring Nas. His MMG signees all hold their own weight on each of their respective features and even Kelly Rowland holds her own on “Mine Games”. I’m not mad at this tape, I just wish Ross wouldn’t say in interviews that he’s putting out the best music when he’s still making songs that sound almost identical to “B.M.F.”. That’s all. Overall, Rich Forever is still good money.

Sore Losers – “Euthanasia” [Video]

In November of 2011, Dallas-based hip-hop six-piece Sore Losers released their lead single, “Euthanasia,” exclusively on GRAMMY.com. After designing the single art (pictured below) and receiving positive responses to the message, the video directed by Walu pushed the song’s visuals to a new height.

The group describes “Euthanasia” as “mankind’s ultimate quest to understand reality while attempting to use science to manipulate and control his destiny on Earth. The constant struggle we experience as individuals; the quest for control over our lives while yielding to a higher power.”
