Greedmont Park: For those that don’t know you, because you seemingly came out of nowhere and onto the scene with some fanfare….. speak on who you are and what’s your music about?
Honors English: My artist name is Honors English. My intention as an artist is to elevate hip-hop as an art to its highest expression. I intend to make songs that are more musically complex then the best of Mozart, more visual then the best of Spielberg and/ or catchier then the biggest hits by Coldplay. I chose to focus on innovation, creativity, positivity and producing great music. Personally I am not preoccupied with being underground or commercial but instead being the best in both. Hailing from Trenton, New Jersey I depict the reality of the hood without glorifying the negative elements. My music provides and fresh, reflective and sincere view on life while being as entertaining as possible. By the way I can rap really good…..

Just got our 2,000 hard copies of the Issue 3 in the mail, they look great, I could never feel anymore accomplished! We start distributing these things across America this weekend and will posting available locations soon! Thanks for everyone who supported us this far, stay tuned and continue to grow with us. Sometimes I don’t know if people realize what we are accomplishing over here at Greedmont… Making movies, publishing magazines, dropping countless mixtapes, designing clothing and producing festivals… Greedmont Park is a movement. We create things, we break things and it is all respected. Across the bridge, however, we can be misunderstood and if the monglers are really colorful, we’re abominations. I guess, only a select few individuals can see the king’s new wardrobe and maybe, that’s for the best. Do we really give a fuck? Probably not. So, we chatted with celebrated misfit, Lupe Fiasco and bubbling, Brooklyn-raised new comer, Theophilus London. We highlight events that unify us all as humans like the disaster in Japan and the killing of one of the world’s most notorious terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.
Our online followers are lucky enough to see it first! Bundles of hard copies are being mass produced by our printer and distributed across America (more specifically NY, LA, SF and ATL) as we speak!
