Mach Five has left use hungry for new music for awhile now, and they finally decided to appease our appetite with this little piece of ear candy called Sex on a Sunday Sampler. To promote their new album Sex on a Sunday LP coming December 1st, 2009. Once again they managed to break all the rules, for this is not your typical “sampler” full of song snippets, but features seven full unreleased songs. Corey states “We just wanted to give people a preview of what the album is gonna sound like, build the hype back up. But there are actually only two songs from the album on it… Which is ‘On My way’ and ‘Rebecca’.” Personally my favorite track is ‘Microwave ft. Kara Kersey’

Simon says “This is interesting, I can’t wait to hear more.”

Finally, I have a chance to load pics from the my first Solo Art Exhibition, the turnout was crazy! Thanks to everyone who came out to support! I sold 3 paintings, and lots and lots merchandise! I arrived via horse drawn carriage @ 8pm. We had complimentary sushi and “Corey Davis” Fortune Cookies for all attendees! I didn’t sell out of everything so I will be putting all left over merch for sale on Plush357.com sometime this week, including skateboards, pins, earrings, and exclusive t-shirts!

“The Good, The Bad and The Exceptionally Beautiful” is an art show, conisting of my lasted work inspired by the good things that come out of a bad situation, and ultimately it ends up being a beautiful exprience. The idea spawned from a disagreement with one of my best friends, conquencidently this happened at the same time my girlfriend left me, leaving me sad and alone. The both of them left me with the following advice, “just focus on your art”, which seemed to be a good idea, being that everything I’ve done has originated from my art. So from that whole ordeal I decided to warp this bad experience into some great and powerful. Hopefully, something that could inspire others in need. The artwork itself is influenced from all of my childhood experiences[from religion to culture], for some reason I’m obsessed with reliving those experiences, along with capturing the carefree mentality kids have. Generally, my goal is to promote free-thinking and individuality… But I gotta get to class so I’ll share more with ya’ll later. lol

Here’s a music video I was working on for Mach 5 last year, that I completely forgot about[believe it or not], with all the projects and commissions I’ve been working on lately. It’s actually not finished, I kinda lost interest in the whole project, but I figured it was still dope enough to share. Enjoy!

I was so excited when I heard my friends, Christian Rich, was going to be doing a video for their single “Famous Girl”, the concept looks crazy! Alot of you might know about them from the “Talk” beat they did for Mach 5. They really been doing their thing lately, collaborating with Complex Magazine and Lemar and Dauley doing mixtapes, and I heard they just did a beat for Diddy’s new album. However, I am a bit disappointed because I was originally supposed to be doing their album cover (and that shit was dope as hell), I dunno what happened with that, but it’s cool! I still love them!
