Netta Brielle is a Bay Area songstress who is ready to make her mark in R&B. Her cover of Mint Condition’s 1992 breakout hit “Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)” is the perfect introduction. Netta’s 2013 update adds refreshing vocal harmonies with added high hats and 808s which easily transforms this classic slow jam into a present club banger. “Pretty Brown Eyes” is the first song from the Atlantic recording artist which will be available on her upcoming mixtape Will You Go With Me? Stream the song on Soundcloud below and be sure to check out www.nettabrielle.com for more updates on the singer.

It was quite a wait for BNEW’s “A Rolling Stone” to be released. I’m glad it’s finally out, although one of my favorite tracks didn’t make the cut. I’ve always liked dude’s voice and delivery. It’s always appreciated when a rapper actually has something to say. There are many quality artists these days who get overlooked or underrated. Is the industry over saturated? Is it the time we live in? It’s difficult to say. All I know is Hip-Hop is far from dead. Production by Southstar Sounds. Artwork by FlyWidit Customs.

I’m posting this months late(r), but what can I say. Gotta love technology! I’ve been jamming this project since it’s release in December of last year. The Boy Illinois is known for his catchy hooks and subtle consciousness in his music. Illinois and one of the main producers, Rel Elite, did a nice job creating a production that complimented the lyricism well. Definitely proud to be involved in designing the artwork for this project.

ATTENTION! This is a real mixtape. As in a DJ mixing songs together, scratching, all on one long track. LRG and Complex present this Life Colors mixtape from DJ Jazzy Jeff. Jazzy Jeff is easily one of my favorite Hip Hop DJs. He did his thing on this mixtape. He blends house, dub step, and hip hop effortlessly. Download this mixtape.

This project sort of came out of nowhere. Nevertheless, it’s always good to get new music from the Jersey homie Moruf. Moruf linked up with L.A. singer/songwriter/producer Iman Omari for this cool mixtape. This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful musical relationship. Download it, play it, and vibe out.
