Greedmont Park: For those that don’t know you, because you seemingly came out of nowhere and onto the scene with some fanfare….. speak on who you are and what’s your music about?
Honors English: My artist name is Honors English. My intention as an artist is to elevate hip-hop as an art to its highest expression. I intend to make songs that are more musically complex then the best of Mozart, more visual then the best of Spielberg and/ or catchier then the biggest hits by Coldplay. I chose to focus on innovation, creativity, positivity and producing great music. Personally I am not preoccupied with being underground or commercial but instead being the best in both. Hailing from Trenton, New Jersey I depict the reality of the hood without glorifying the negative elements. My music provides and fresh, reflective and sincere view on life while being as entertaining as possible. By the way I can rap really good…..

Beyonce aired a mini-documentary on BET, VH1, MTV, Centric on the journey to the album “4″ a few days ago and it really put another perspective on this album set to release. Its been a while since I seen one of these from her, so it was a tad bit refreshing. Personally, Beyonce has always been a favorite but the last song she released wasn’t my favorite. BUT, after this documentary it definitely put another perspective on the album.

If the entertainment industry was a high-school, Shwayze would be the cool kid. Gliding through clique to clique effortlessly and bagging a few ladies in his travels, he would be the only kid who could wear crocs and not get clowned by everyone because of a cute smile and the bomb house parties. Yeah, so it makes sense that the cool kid would give the fly stoners also known as, Greedmont Park, a exclusive interview where we talk about what exactly the W’s mean, porn, and being a new father.

2010 was a pretty stellar year for bringing creativity back into music videos, a lot of directors was inspired to push the boundaries on what’s acceptable and what is taboo. Nothing sells like a little controversy, and in 2010, recording artists seemed more willing than ever to raise eyebrows with disturbing and sexually explicit imagery, some of which was even banned from MTV, Youtube and various other networks.
