MOMENTS at MADE I CHAPTER TWO with Erykah Badu, Jaybo & Miki´s String Quintet – The Film from MADE Blog on Vimeo.
Moments at Made in Berlin is a unique and interesting project where three artists of various outlets combine for a memorable exchange of creativity. After a performance by Aloe Blacc in Chapter 1, composer Miki and artist Jaybo invited Erykah Badu to grace the stage in their second chapter. The video offers a behind the scenes look at their collaborative process and how it all came together in the end.

I first came across work of chicago artist, Hebru Brantley, my freshman year of college while working with the Focus Group Movement, and have been following his work through the years. It’s crazy to see his style progress and grow, his work and philosophies are amazing.

The subtle message in this piece is what first caught my eye. This digital artist, ? (hi), is based out of Tokyo, Japan. His style is a quiet wash of muted colors that add beauty to scarred and mutilated faces. [Note: The artist's name is in Japanese and wouldn't translate to the site.]

I’ll admit, Craig Tracy tricked me with this artwork also. When I first saw it, I just thought it was a very detailed painting. That was until I saw the behind the scenes and my jaw dropped. Amazing.

Hailing from Ireland, Conor Harrington grew up, like most present day artists, waist deep in the Graffiti scene. During college, while he continued painting the streets, he found a new love and respect for a more classical style of oil painting. He now uses his talents in both mediums to meld together these two very different creatures and create an amalgamation of classical painting with the flare and colors of graffiti.
Just a small sample of his amazing body of work.
