Almost 6 years ago, I created this animated series based on some of my favorite childhood friends. After realizing how work it took to produce the cartoon, I discontinued it nearly a year later, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it now. In this episode, a depressed Kelly stuggles to lose his virginity, his two friends do all they can to help him.

We introduce you to the next big artist in the visual art world. We delve into the Big Gay Weddings in NYC. We even learn some tricks on how to make an, ahem, “big splash”. We create things, we break things and it is all respected. Across the bridge, however, we can be misunderstood and if the monglers are really colorful, we’re abominations. I guess, only a select few individuals can see the king’s new wardrobe and maybe, that’s for the best. Do we really give a fuck? Probably not. So, we chatted with celebrated misfit, Lupe Fiasco and bubbling, Brooklyn-raised new comer, Theophilus London. We highlight events that unify us all as humans like the disaster in Japan and the killing of one of the world’s most notorious terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.

In a world full of self righteousness, it takes strong, creative people to deny the boxes society tries to force upon us. Greedmont Park is continuously smashing these boxes and shedding labels in the process. Our second issue of Greedmont Park is exploring the vices and sins that we have all fallen victim to on this Earth. We decided that there was no other artist that could explicate to our audience the Godly and devilish in all of us, quite like Tupac Shakur. To our generation, Tupac Shakur is more than a rapper, but a Messiah, a prophet. Take this controversial trip with Greedmont Park through everything from WikiLeaks controversy, the on-going trend of Homophobia in Hip-Hop, the taboos of sex, and everything in-between. We talked to artists like Uffie and Mr. Hudson along with artists like Miya Bailey and Melody Ehsani who were brave and willing to confess all their sins and secrets to Greedmont Park, Catholic confessional style.

Our second issue of Greedmont Magazine drops this week, so I figured I’d post something relating to that this Sunday… Here’s a sneak peek at how the Invasion of the Skydiving Roaches Comic Strip goes from a sketch to full color art! After the cartoon we created a few years ago received over 35,000 views on youtube, we decided to bring Brian, Kelly and Cory back in the form of a comic! Check it out February 1st in Greedmont Mag #2.
