SUPER debuts their Autumn 2010 collection of eyewear. The offering is comprised of four distinct releases. The first is a handful of new People colors (pictured above), taking the colored frame concept a step further with a less basic shape. Secondly, we see frames that elegantly combine materials such as metal, acetate and leather, something that was unseen in past Super collections. Third is a brilliant new matte blond havana color that spans all of Super’s top silhouettes, and last but not least is the full leather Flat Top in two shades of rich brown leather: deep chocolate and sand. Available now here.

Tom Ford releases ads for his Fall 2010 Eyewear campaign featuring model Freja Beha Erichsen, actor Nicholas Hoult and a whole bunch of ravens. This oddly reminds me of Hitchcock’s 1963 film ‘The Birds’, but with Ford’s ever present sex and sophistication.
The first pair are MINE.

Their sunglasses are dark, brooding, chain-embellished, and stud casted; these shades are made for the typical and iconic byronic hero. You have a strong distaste for social institutions or you ever feel as though you are a rebel without a cause? Buy a pair. Pretty jaded and not blinded by the flashing lights that prey? Buy a pair. Got a high level of confidence that some mistake for cockiness and a blood in my eyes, ice in my veins attitude/mentality to match? Buy a pair. These shades aren’t your typical piece of merchandise or accessory. They are couture. While many in the accessory business get their merchandise made in sweatshops or factories across the Atlantic, with Coco&Breezy sunglasses you get what Corianna and Brianna (a.k.a. Coco&Breezy) have hand picked and made, fresh from their apartment in New York to you. No middle man. (more…)
