We decided to comprise a list of all of our favorite indie artist who represent the city best. The aritst we choose was selected on skill, style, consistency, and buzz factor. Though the list is mainly composed of rappers, we tried to include someone from every genre. All acts have been confirmed to the Indie Fest this year, so please stop hitting me up trying to get on the bill!!!!! lol We got B.o.b, Mickey Factz, Big Sean (G.O.O.D Music), Soul For Real, and yes they will be singing “Candy Rain”. There’s no telling who else is gonna pop up…..
Here’s some exclusive footage my cousin, Lauren, captured while we was rehersing @ the Plush .357 store for the Atlanta Indie Music Festival. The guys from Tendaberry are going to be playing for us, and this was our first time praticing together so it was a pretty dope experience. I just got off the phone with Double O from Kidz in the Hall, despite recent rumors they will definitely still be performing at the Atlanta Indie Music Festival this weekend[for $10 cheaper I might add...] after their show with Murs at the Masquerade . Named after the sketch comedy, the duo formed nearly a decade ago and released their latest album, The In Crowd, with independant label, Duck Down Records.
