After leaking several critically acclaimed tracks, Spree Wilson’s highly anticipated 14 song opus ‘The Never Ending Now’ is available right here and now. This musical collage documents Spree’s life thus far through poignant songwriting and lush musical arrangements. I just finished taking a listen and all I can say is this project is pretty fucking epic. You need this.

I can’t explain how incredibly dope this song is! Greedmont has been following Spree Weezy’s career after interviewing him about his big move to New York a little longer than a year ago…. Then he invited us out to document him signing his first record deal with Jive. Spree Wilson doesn’t seem to be stopping. He continues to drop amazing groundbreaking music by releasing ‘Love You Better”. His latest leak is a frantic tale of jaded love told from Spree’s observation over hard drums, moody keys through production provided by Shoden!1 and Mr. Wilson himself. Complete with a New Orleans brass section funeral breakdown, and an unexpected 30 second drum and bass explosion at the end, you will quickly see why everyone is anticipating Spree Wilson’s project “The Never Ending Now”.

The homie, Spree Wilson has come with a follow up leak titled “I Believe She’s Lying”, which was written by legendary producer Jon Brion (Fiona Apple, Kanye West, Spoon). This rare song is reinterpreted into a frenetic drum and bass track by Spree and producer Shoeden!1 to create a new vision of this cautionary tale of insecurity and lies. Both records can be found on Spree’s long awaited and anticipated debut project “The Never Ending Now”, coming the top of 2011.
