So I spent the last two weeks backpacking from Mexico City to Cancun, from the Petrified Waterfalls of Oaxaco to the Seventh wonder of the world in Merida, I even went to visit a Zapatista Village in Chiapas. Documenting the different aspects of their culture and way of living for Greedmont TV and Creative Control. Until we get all the footage edited up here’s some photos I managed to catch along the way. Beautiful people, beautiful culture. Enjoy [Photos by Corey Davis]

Jabari’s “Face to Face” w/ Donnis [Interview]

Thursday, April 28, 2011 by | No Comments | Category: Culture, Entertainment, Music, Video

Recently, Jabari scored a deal with BET to start a web-series, where he does what he does best… (interviewing). He’s been traveling all around the country interviewing your favorite artists and asking questions you want answered. This is a good look for BET and they should definitely consider taking this into a television series. I am I right?

“Jabari chats with Donnis about being a new artist and not wanting to over saturate fans with music.”

These aren’t just any regular old suites; 30+ of these rooms have been painted by California based artists, like David Choe, Sam Flores and more. Plus there aren’t any cancellation or change fees!

I kinda liked the first edition of the Vice Guide to Travel” pretty over the edge, its kinda short but its worth it they take you inside the Pygmy villages in the Congo, the radioactive ruins of Chernobyl, and the illegal arms markets of Pakistan and it comes with like a 30 minute DVD. They were suppose to drop  of these every year but this is the only one i know of.
