Chief – Chief Files: Volume 1

Chief of Top Heavy just released a 10-track mixtape properly titled Chief Files: Volume 1, which to my surprise is somewhat decent. I kinda like what those cats over at Top Heavy(Young Lyxx, B Yale, Duecez, Chief) have been doing, they are all pretty much lyrical beast. My favorite song is probably the posse joint, “I’ll Let You Know Again” featuring all of them. Though I must admit Chief sounds a bit like Drake’s kid brother on a few tracks, especially when he dropped a personal track about his early experiences in college over “Successful”.
